Fee

U.S. residents $250. Non-U.S. $260. Charity entries $325 and $335. A processing fee applies. You pay after you are approved, or you do not get a bib.

The close at 2 p.m. Central on 29 October 2026 is the date already in this record from the apply page. We did not reopen that URL today.

Charity and tours

Charity fundraising is at least $2,500. One FAQ answer says charity entry runs until Tuesday 10 September 2027. Another says Friday 10 September 2027. 10 September 2027 is a Friday, so the Tuesday line does not match the calendar. Check the charity before you rely on either sentence.

Tour-operator applications are printed as open through Tuesday 10 August 2027. Not every country has an approved operator.

Edition status

The FAQ, opened 4 November 2026, says the 49th running is Sunday 10 October 2027. The start is Grant Park at Columbus Drive and Monroe Drive. The finish is Columbus Drive south of Balbo Drive. Time limit 6 hours 30 minutes. The participant page prints a Sunday schedule and says the times can change. No GPX. We do not have a surveyed pin for the Columbus and Monroe intersection.
