What not to do
Do not pick a corner from an old map and call it 2027. The FAQ does not name cheer zones. The course-map link in the old record was not the page we used.
Laflin between Adams and Jackson is the only mid-course street with miles on the participant page, and it is a lactation tent.
Ready-made plans
Laflin, then the finish street
Adult support crewThe only mid-course street with a mile on the participant page is a tent, and that page still contains 2026 dates elsewhere.
Mile 15
Laflin Street
The participant page does not name a CTA stop here.
Lactation tent on Laflin between Adams and Jackson at miles 15 and 16. The FAQ says 20 aid stations, about one to two miles apart, and does not name their streets.
Mile 26.2
Columbus Drive south of Balbo Drive
The FAQ recommends the CTA and does not name a station for the mat.
Finish location from the FAQ. Grant Park opens to spectators at 9:30 a.m., so the 7:35 wave is not a viewing plan inside the park.
Meetup: Do not invent a Lincoln Park corner. It was not on these pages.
27th Mile party
FamilyThe reunion is a party with a clock, not a course mile.
Mile 26.2
27th Mile Post-Race Party
CTA is the FAQ's race-day advice. No station is named for the party.
Sunday 10 October 2027 schedule: party 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Times subject to change. Mile field is the finish, because 27 is not a course mile.
Meetup: Gear check closes at 4:00 p.m. the same day, on that schedule.

The FAQ, opened 4 November 2026, says the 49th running is Sunday 10 October 2027. The start is Grant Park at Columbus Drive and Monroe Drive. The finish is Columbus Drive south of Balbo Drive. Time limit 6 hours 30 minutes. The participant page prints a Sunday schedule and says the times can change. No GPX. We do not have a surveyed pin for the Columbus and Monroe intersection.
