Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris

April 11, 2027Marathon110 m

We rate Paris as the easier big-city entry: open registration, no qualifying time, and a broad field pouring down the Champs-Elysees. April typically runs 6 to 15 degrees, but the raw early start, cobbles, and sharp dips through the Seine tunnels can break your pacing. The estimated $170 entry rises by tier, and the exact 2027 opening date is still unpublished, so we would watch registration from early autumn.

Better info coming — we're still verifying 4 fields on this race.

Why we'd pick it

  • The 110 m climbing estimate is useful for planning, not a verified pacing number.
  • Open · Direct entry — no lottery to lose.
  • A non-racing partner gets a real weekend here — 5/5.
  • Race day usually sits 6–15°C, about 35% chance of rain.

The course

Starts on the Champs-Elysees, drops to circle Place de la Concorde, then runs Rue de Rivoli past the Louvre to Bastille and out into the Bois de Vincennes. It returns along the Seine past Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower before the Bois de Boulogne and a finish on Avenue Foch near the Arc de Triomphe. Mostly flat, but the tunnels at Tuileries and Pont de l'Alma throw in sharp dips and climbs that break your rhythm, and some stretches run over cobbles.
