Race day is April 24, 2027. Protect one day for arrival friction and one for bib pickup, food, and a short shakeout.

Keep the trip reversible
Entry status, official transport, and the final runner guide should be settled before flights or rooms become non-refundable.
London Marathon is in London, the UK. Plan to land at least two days out — one to clear the time zone, one to rack the expo and a shakeout run without rushing.
Getting there
Fly into the nearest major hub and stay within reach of the start. Race morning, transit gets crowded and surge pricing on rides is real, so being able to walk to the corrals is worth paying for.
When to come, when to leave
Race day is April 24, 2027. We'd give yourself the evening after to actually eat and sleep before flying — racing and then sprinting through an airport on dead legs is its own kind of pain.
